- Purpose of This Policy
This policy outlines how I work, the boundaries of my professional services, and the safety standards I uphold. It clarifies where Somatic Analysis is appropriate and where I refer clients to licensed clinical professionals.
My primary objective is to enhance individual and organisational performance through evidence‑based, ethical, and non‑clinical methods.
- Professional Identity
I operate as a Multi‑Modality Practitioner, integrating:
- Business & Occupational Psychology (non‑clinical)
- Holistic Coaching
- Commercial & Organisational Consulting
This combination allows me to support clients across behavioural, performance, and organisational domains while maintaining clear professional boundaries.
- Scope of Practice
I support clients with:
- Leadership development and training
- Behavioural and communication patterns
- Stress management and resilience
- Role clarity and organisational dynamics
- Career development and decision‑making
- Somatic awareness for performance optimisation
All services are future‑focused, non‑clinical, and designed to improve clarity, effectiveness, and performance.
I do not diagnose, treat, or manage medical or psychiatric conditions.
- Somatic Analysis (Non‑Clinical)
In my practice, Somatic Analysis refers to:
- Observing body‑based cues linked to stress or habitual patterns
- Identifying Somatic Residue or Chronic Stress Imprints from prolonged pressure or role strain
- Supporting awareness, regulation, and behavioural choice
This work is not trauma therapy, somatic psychotherapy, or a clinical intervention.
I intentionally avoid clinical terminology and do not work with trauma processing.
- What Is Outside My Scope
I do not work with or provide support for:
- Trauma, PTSD, or dissociation
- Clinical depression or anxiety disorders
- Panic disorders
- Eating disorders
- Substance dependence
- Self‑harm ideation
- Any condition requiring psychiatric or medical care
If these arise, I will pause the session and recommend appropriate clinical support.
- Referral to Clinical Professionals
I will refer clients to a licensed clinician when any of the following are present:
Emotional or Somatic Indicators
- Flashbacks or dissociation
- Overwhelming emotional episodes
- Persistent panic attacks
- Somatic symptoms affecting daily functioning
Cognitive or Behavioural Indicators
- Severe withdrawal or avoidance
- Functional impairment at work or home
- Signs of clinical depression or anxiety
- Substance misuse or eating disorder behaviours
Medical Indicators
- Unexplained physical pain
- Chronic fatigue or sleep disruption
- Cardiovascular or neurological symptoms
Situational Indicators
- Recent traumatic events
- Abuse or safeguarding concerns
Referrals are made to ensure client safety and appropriate care.
- Safety Standards During Sessions
To maintain a safe working environment, I ensure:
- Clear boundaries between coaching and clinical care
- No touch‑based interventions
- No regression or trauma‑processing techniques
- Client choice and consent at every step
- Immediate pause if distress arises
- Practical aftercare guidance when needed
- Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
- Seek medical or psychological support when needed
- Communicate openly about wellbeing
- Participate voluntarily and at their own pace
- Understand that coaching is not therapy
